CFire Chat Keeper takes your privacy seriously. All data processing happens
entirely on your local device — your conversation content is never
uploaded to any third-party server.
📊Data Collection and Use
- Conversation content: The extension only captures conversation data from the AI chat pages you visit (DeepSeek, ChatGPT, Doubao) for the sole purpose of displaying and exporting it locally.
- Local storage: Captured conversations are stored in the browser's local IndexedDB; your preferences (such as save paths) are stored in
chrome.storage.local. This data never leaves your device. - Exported files: When you explicitly click export, the extension saves conversations as Markdown / JSON files to your chosen local directory via the browser's download feature.
🤝Data Sharing
- This extension does not transfer, sell, or share your user data with any third party.
- Network requests made by the extension go only to the official APIs of the AI platform you are currently visiting (same-origin requests) to fetch conversation data. No other servers are contacted.
- This extension contains no advertising, tracking, or analytics code.
🛡️Limited Use Disclosure
This extension's use of user data adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:
- User data is used solely to provide and improve the extension's single purpose (extracting and saving AI conversation records).
- User data is never used for personalized advertising, nor sold to advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers.
- No human is allowed to read your user data, except where required by law or for security investigations.
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
🗑️Data Deletion
- Uninstalling the extension automatically clears its locally stored data (IndexedDB and chrome.storage.local).
- Files already exported to your local folders are under your control and can be deleted at any time.
